Technical Manager, Unified Communications

As the Technical Manager of the Unified Communications team, you will lead a team that supports the Cisco VoIP infrastructure, application roadmaps, and strategies for telecomm enterprise apps. This position has multiple direct reports and will supervise a technical team, acting as both a leader as well as the technical SME.


In this role, you will be responsible for all telecommunications, UC, and call center initiatives, acting as a liaison to vendors and an advisor to the team and internal clients. You will also lead the team to pilot and test new functionalities, improving efficiency and extending business capabilities, with the overall goal to reduce costs and increase customer value.


Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • 7+ years of combined experience in Networking, VoIP, Telecom/Unified Communication products, including Cisco VoIP applications and related equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or leading a team
  • Solid understanding of Unified Communication technologies
  • Knowledge/experience working in or with Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) environment
  • Knowledge of Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal (CVP) is a plus
  • Cisco certifications are highly preferred
