Top company in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Project Analyst to join their team in their Atlanta Station office.

Formal Job description:

 

The ePMO Project Analyst will also be responsible for administering the PPM tool at a departmental level with support from others (training will be provided as needed).

Looking for individuals with 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role, previous experience interfacing with IT resources, or someone in a finance/IT hybrid role.  Needs someone with strong Excel (ability to do pivot tables and use multiple data sources), ability to create models and dashboards.  Experience with a PPM system is a huge plus. The reports this person is creating will be seen by executive leadership, and he/she may be called up to present information to C-levels from time to time
 


This is a Permanent Opportunity with a salary range of $90-100K

Job Requirements
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•             Supports ePMO Director in preparing for prioritization sessions and tollgate sessions.

 

•             Creates aggregate status reporting for executive presentations.

 

•             Takes and distributes meeting minutes, including discussions, decisions, actions and next steps.

 

•             Works with ePMO Director to develop and facilitate project management training and supports programs.

 

•             Supports continuous process improvement and project governance within the ePMO .

 

•             Works closely with cross-functional Program and Project Managers to provide ePMO support.

 

•             Responsible for collecting and consolidating data from a variety of internal and external sources.

 

•             Works with the Project Management staff and IT personnel to collect, organize and report on key project metrics and dashboards.

 

•             Work closely with Director ePMO to develop US support roadmap and processes regarding time keeping, project, program and portfolio reporting.

 

•             Works closely with cross-functional PMs and managers to provide PPM Support.

 

•             Responsible for collecting, consolidating, and analyzing data from a variety of sources.

 

•             Consolidates and refines status reports into program level and senior management reports.

 

•             Works with the Project Management staff and IT personnel to collect, organize and report on key project metrics and dashboards.

 

•             Creates and delivers presentations/reports to the EPMO Director.

 

•             Completes special projects and other functions, as required.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

 

•             Bachelor’ s degree in related field or equivalent business experience.

•             Required project administration /project coordination experience with experience using a Project Management Portfolio tool (i.e., ChangePoint, Project Server or other PPM tools).  PPM Tool Training is a major plus

•             Any Project Management Training is strongly preferred.

•             At least 8 years of Office Administration in an IT or PMO environment (Advance maturity in the role, not just experience).

•             At least 1 year of Enterprise Application Support (Any type of admin support function regarding CRM, ERP, PPM, Timekeeping Applications, etc.).

 

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

•             Good understanding of IT and/or PMO Operations.

•             Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the ePMO and project governance processes, and ensure that ePMO deliverables are met according.

•             Ability to work closely with department head and provide administrated support regarding ePMO deliverables.

•             Ability to training others on time-entry and project items entry as needed related to PPM tool.

•             Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

•             Understanding of MS Project, Visio or the ability to learn quickly.

•             Ability to identify and understand problems/issue and recommend competent solutions.

•             Accountable with the ability to prioritize, organize and disseminate information efficiently.
