JIRA Administrator

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Salary: $47/hr - $53/hr w2 converting around $95, 000

  This is a 6 month contract to permanent opportunity OR can be a permanent position

Responsibilities:
  • Administer JIRA (core and software), Fisheye/Crucible, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket Server, and Crows instances, and formulate technical solutions using JIRA and associated JIRA plugins/Atlassian Products.
  • Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as needed.
  • Create custom workflows, post functions, validators
  • Make changes to workflows, screens, fields and reporting
  • Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance
  • Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK
  • Design & manage JIRA/Confluence queries, dashboards for metrics reporting for various teams
  • Serving as the JIRA/Atlassian technical resource (Subject Matter Expert?) for migrations to ensure adoption of development/workflow processes, address user questions and develop training as needed

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field is required
  • Core Java, XML, JSP, and SQL experience
  • Linux, DB administration, Tomcat server configuration/tuning, JVM tuning
  • Hands on Jira Core or JIRA Software, Fisheye/Crucible, Crowd, or Confluence experience
  • Strong experience using/extending REST services provided by Atlassian
